Back from the coastMay 6, 2002 Matthew M. Catlett joined McKee, Voorhees and Sease March 1 to practice in the firm’s Biotechnology group. Matt graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 1999. He has a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology/Genetics and completed his thesis entitled ‘Molecular Mapping of Chromosomal Rearrangement Breakpoints of the Triplo-lethal Locus of Drosophila melanogaster.’ Prior to attending law school, he worked for SmithKline Beecham Animal Health for two years. While in law school Matt worked for the University of Nebraska- Lincoln Office of Technology Transfer, and the Lancaster County Public Defender’s office.After graduating from law school, Matt moved to Washington, D.C. and joined the prestigious IP law firm of Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox, where he practiced in the Biotechnology group. Next he moved to California where he was with Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal. Matt then concluded he wanted to move back to the Midwest. His technical and legal expertise will be a great addition to MVS, and we are excited to have him in Des Moines. ← Return to News & Events
