Brian Keppler Promoted to Senior Patent Agent with McKee, Voorhees & Sease, PLC December 3, 2024

MVS is proud to announce that Brian D. Keppler, Ph.D., has been promoted to Senior Patent Agent with McKee, Voorhees & Sease, PLC.

“Brian has shown a consistent ability to go above and beyond clients’ expectations. As we look to the future of the firm, we are confident Brian’s leadership skills will prove to be an exceptional asset to our team,” stated Luke T. Mohrhauser, Managing Partner and Chair of the MVS Mechanical-Electrical Practice Group.

Prior to joining MVS, Brian earned both his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and his Master’s Degree in Plant Biology, Molecular and Cellular Biology from Ohio University. He then attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he earned his Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology. Upon graduation, Brian joined MVS as a Technology Specialist, then transitioned to his most recent role. As a registered Patent Agent, Brian provides support to patent prosecution in the biotechnology and chemical arts. Brian has extensive research experience in the field of plant molecular biology including doctoral research focused on the molecular basis of plant disease resistance.
