UI law student chosen for MVS scholarshipNovember 1, 2005 Jason Campbell, a second-year law student at the University of Iowa, was selected as the first recipient of the McKee, Voorhees & Sease Scholarship. Established in December, 2004, the scholarship is intended specifically for students pursuing careers in intellectual property law. Campbell, a graduate of Boone High School, received his baccalaureate degree in genetics from Iowa State University. While at ISU, he worked as a research assistant and went on to work with Pioneer Hi-Bred International prior to entering law school. While pursuing his law degree, Campbell has worked as a research scientist with the UI Department of Internal Medicine and spent a month as a research extern with the Australian Center for Intellectual Property in Agriculture.
